While this doesn’t directly relate to EFT, I feel/think that most things that deal with our growing knowledge of the brain/mind complex may at some point provide insights that are useful in applying EFT and related Energy Therapies.

Forgetting is Key to a Healthy Mind: Scientific American.

Very interesting article regarding memory and the value of “forgetting” that probably has some application in understanding better the practice of EFT and similar ‘energy psychology’ techniques.  I especially found helpful the concept of retrieval-induced forgetting as it seems to tie in with the “generalization” principle of EFT. Regulating the formation of fear extinction memory.

A very interesting read.  It raises in my mind the question of how, then, does EFT work down at the level of he microRNA dance.  What role, if any, does tapping meridian points while tuning into a traumatic memory, play in this ‘dance’ of non-coding RNA, this turning on and turning off of acquired genetic memory traces.
